MEET THE TEAM

The team at Greg Tims & Associates have a proven track record of success, in the most complex areas of HR consulting.

GREG TIMS

Greg has over 35 years of Human Resources management experience, having been the Partner in Charge of an HR Consulting team in a large Hamilton based Chartered Accounting and Business Advisory firm, a Group Manager HR at one of the country’s largest District Health Boards, a General Manager Organisational Development in a public sector organisation, and as an HR Consultant/Advisor to the Boards/Councils, CEOs, senior managers and business owners.

He has worked on a number of large HR projects with a wide range of businesses in the private and public sectors, internationally and within NZ, including iwi organisations, Councils, District Health Boards, manufacturers, distributors, transport, technology, horticulture, dairy and agriculture businesses, government departments, retailers, professional services firms (i.e. accounting, dental, medical, optometry and veterinary), and with a number of start-ups.

Greg has an MA (Distinction) in Psychology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology.

KARIN ADAMS

Karin has over 25 years’ experience in senior HR management roles, having provided specialist advice and support to Senior Leaders within a large international retail/FMCG business, an international banking & finance organisation, and a large national agricultural business.

She has supported business leaders to deliver practical people initiatives that enable the delivery of commercial and/or operational outcomes across manufacturing, transport, construction, education, professional services and import/export sectors. Karin has also supported professional sports, iwi and community organisations with their specialist HR needs.

Karin has managed a number of organisational wide HR Projects, specialist recruitments, has led structural realignment processes, supported the effective management of change and the development and delivery of strategic people frameworks and HR management toolkits.

Karin has been a senior member of the team since 2015.

Karin has a Bachelor of Commerce in Employment Relations, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
