Description

This well-established and well-known Hamilton based community oriented organisation is focused on supporting individuals and their families make meaningful changes to enhance their health and well-being. It is in a transition process of relocating to a purpose built facility and preparing to deliver services in new and different way. This is an exciting and challenging time to be joining the organisation, and you will be able to be involved in supporting the change process, and assisting with some key strategic work streams.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, this role will be responsible for providing proactive and thoughtful executive support at a senior level, including the accurate and timely preparation, collation and distribution of key documents related to Executive and Board meetings, the production of high-quality minutes, letters, reports and presentations, and the delivery of any delegated projects/events. The coordination of important CE meetings with key external partners, advisors and stakeholders, the Board Chair, Executive Team and advisors/visitors, will also be an important part of this role.

To be considered for this role, you must have had a proven history as a successful EA at a senior level, ideally supporting an organisational leader. It is essential that you are naturally warm and engaging, have excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills and are very well organised. You must have very high personal delivery standards, and can commit to do what is needed to complete an agreed task.

It is also important that you can demonstrate that you are able to use your initiative, and that you can solve problems quickly and pragmatically, and get on with a wide range of people. Having a good understanding of working with different cultures, ideally Pasifika, is highly desirable.

This will be a very busy role with a lot of variety, and it will appeal to a self-motivated individual wanting to enhance and/or utilise their executive support skills at a more senior level, including being involved with some unique projects, along with working with a strongly people oriented Chief Executive.
