This privately-owned business is responsible for the ownership and management of a sizeable commercial portfolio covering office, retail and industrial properties. They are focused on the strategic development of their portfolio, and adding value to it through active management and exploring new initiatives.
This new role has been created to manage and provide oversight of their portfolio, in particular, managing relationships with tenants, ensuring that all legal requirements are met, and that insurance and risk are well managed. It will also include lease negotiations and renewals, rent reviews, facility management and property maintenance, along with budget management (CAPEX and OPEX). It will be varied and busy “hands on” role, which will have high relationship management and administrative components.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least five years of NZ based operational property management experience. You must be able to work independently, be highly self-driven, have demonstrated initiative and excellent organisational skills and can deliver multiple projects on time and within budget. Strong administrative skills, including high attention to detail, is essential. Good negotiation, project management, analytical and financial management skills are also important. It is essential that you have well developed interpersonal and written communication skills, and are naturally engaging and personable.
