This well-known and long-established professional services business wants to strengthen its position in the regional marketplace, and enhance the way in which it operates. The owners are seeking a skilled senior manager to work with them to improve the way that the organisation operates, including how business support is provided in the areas of financial management, people management,  marketing, IT and knowledge management.

You will be expected to focus on implementing agreed business strategies that will enable the owners to focus on strengthening their relationships with their clients, and to support them to work on growing their business. Ensuring that the key support functions are well aligned to the business’ strategic plan, and that these are efficient and fit for purpose, will also be a key aspect of the role, as will the inspirational leadership and development of the support team. Supporting and facilitating the ongoing growth of the organisational culture to remain an employer of choice, will also be an important responsibility.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and that you are able to form strong and positive relationships with a wide range of people, internally and externally.  You must have proven senior management experience, and be  someone who can actively lead and grow a team’s capability and build a strong “can do” culture. It is important that you have strong financial management and business analysis capabilities, within a professional services, SME or corporate environment. Sound decision making and problem-solving skills are essential, as is a relevant tertiary qualification.  Skills in strategic planning and thinking would also be a bonus.
