This well-established and well known organisation has diverse business interests, and this new role has been created to support and enable the Chief Executive and senior management to efficiently deliver on a range of project related activities.

There will be responsibility for organising and/or delivering a number of delegated activities, from project management to preparing written material for the CEO to present externally or to the Board. To deliver these outcomes, you will need to be quick and clear thinking, well organised and have good problem-solving skills and initiative. It is important that you can work autonomously, and can consistently undertake a range of delegated tasks and projects at a very high level of quality, with no requirement for rework.

The role will also involve providing administrative support for Board and Executive meetings, including putting together and circulating agendas and papers, as well as ensuring minutes and/or actions are recorded accurately. Excellent written skills are therefore essential.

To be successful in this  role, you must have proven successful senior business/project support experience, which will include working with Boards and senior management teams, along with a range of external senior managers and professional advisors. It is essential that you have a highly likeable and personable style, are well organised and set high self-standards for delivery. It is essential that you have shown that you can take on responsibility and personal ownership for important tasks and projects, and consistently deliver these. Cultural awareness, and being a strong team player, will also be important personal attributes that you must have.
