This well-established business is focused on building high quality residential and modular properties in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty. In this new role reporting to, and working closely with the General Manager Operations, your initial focus will be on implementing process changes within the modular manufacturing operation that delivers operational performance.  Once process changes are established you will also be responsible for managing the ongoing operational delivery of manufacturing. It will require an engaging leader who can develop and maintain a strong positive team culture, implement good Health & Safety practices, and ensure manufacturing processes achieve or exceed compliance requirements. You will also be accountable for achieving manufacturing performance KPI’s and reporting on these.

To be successful in this position, you will need to have proven experience effectively leading production operations, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Proven capability in continuously improving manufacturing processes, leading LEAN practices and Health & Safety strategies are important, as is being systems orientated. You will have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, have led and developed teams to grow and perform, and have an understanding of the build process.
