This long established, privately owned and well-known successful SME business with branches located in the upper/central North Island, is a respected leader in its sector with sought-after international brands.

Working closely with the MD, you will be expected to undertake defined financial systems and processes analysis work on specific areas of the business, with a focus on improvement and enhancement. This work will assist in the ongoing strengthening and integration of financial management activities across the branches.

It will be important that you have a strong accounting/ financial administration related background, ideally in a commercial multi branch operating environment, along with some complementary audit experience.

Being able to work autonomously and having high quality work standards will be important, as will be a strong financial analytical and systems orientation. High attention to detail is essential, as will being able to handle multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

This role would suit someone seeking to work two to three days a month to supplement other work, or an individual wanting a lifestyle balance with some part time professional work.

There will be some localised travel, and you will be provided with a vehicle to use on any planned trips.
