As a part of the ongoing development of the leadership team, this new role has been created to work with the Chief Executive to enhance the business’s strategic position in the marketplace. You will also be expected to help build the profile of the business in the national and regional marketplace, so well developed networking and relationships skills will be important to be successful in this role.

It will be a hands-on leadership role, so you will be expected to be out with key leaders and managers within the business, helping to strengthen an already positive organisational culture, while ensuring customers and suppliers relationships are being continually maintained. There will be an important focus on identifying new strategic opportunities, and then helping these to become actual projects for the business.

It is essential that you have been a proven general manager or leader within a sizeable commercial and/or residential construction oriented business, ideally with multiple locations. You will need to have well-developed commercial and financial management acumen, the ability to think and plan strategically. The demonstrated consistent delivery of new business opportunities, and proven project management oversight, will also be essential attributes for the role.

This is a unique new leadership role that will provide the right person with the unique opportunity to potentially lead an already highly successful business, and to influence its future growth and development.
