PROCESSING & REGULATORY MANAGER

Westervelt is an internationally renowned and well-established tourism, farming, forestry and honey business. This senior role will work closely with the Honey Operations Manager to support the efficient and timely operational management and delivery of the company’s fast-growing apiary and apiary products business.

The Manager will be expected to focus on planning and managing the development and maintenance of quality standards across the business. This includes ensuring appropriate and up to date quality management systems are in place, and that there is effective and highly productive extraction and processing of honey. It will require the effective development and leadership of the extraction and processing team.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have proven operational “hands on” experience, ideally for over five years within a bee/honey processing and extraction environment, but allied primary production experience will be considered. A strong quality, health and safety oriented systems, processes and productivity management skill set are also highly desirable. The ability to effectively lead and develop a high performing team is essential, as are well developed interpersonal and customer relationship skills. You will need to be future oriented but practical, and also be highly engaging in the way you interact with people.
