The Perry Group is a well-known Waikato based investment management company acting on behalf of members of the Perry Family, and the Group has a large and diverse national portfolio, covering commercial property, land development and farms.
This new role, which reports to the CEO, has been created to strategically plan and actively manage their growing property portfolio, to optimise shareholder returns, deliver associated projects, and to strengthen relationships with business partners and tenants. It will also involve identifying and preparing business cases for new property and development opportunities. Underpinning these will be responsibility for managing cashflow, ensuring the ongoing maintenance of property and sites, making sure all legal requirements are met, and that insurance and risk are well managed.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have proven senior management experience in a property/construction related role, ideally within a commercial or banking environment. You must be able to work independently, be highly self-driven, have demonstrated initiative and excellent organisational skills and can deliver multiple projects on time and within budget. Strong negotiation, analytical and financial management skills are also important, as is experience working with banks in respect to funding. It is essential that you have well developed interpersonal and written communication skills, and are naturally engaging and personable.
