This well-established business has developed a strong market presence in NZ and Asia for its high quality and specialised NZ sourced food and health related products. It operates from a new purpose-built facility, and utilises leading technology and production processes to create a range of products to meet specific customer and market needs.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the company continually and consistently meets its MPI and market access requirements, including that all finished products meet company QA guidelines/policies and customers specifications. It will require the management and updating of the company’s information systems, ensuring that accurate records are kept of all key documentation, that all company premises and equipment are tested and are compliant. Identifying areas for improvement will also be part of the role’s responsibility.

To be considered for this role, you must come from having had a successful QA and compliance role within the meat industry, with strong practical experience in working with MPI manuals and systems. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving capabilities, good organisational and planning skills are essential, as is having a highly engaging and likeable personality. Strong computer and systems skills are also sought-after abilities.

This is a busy “hands-on” role that will appeal to someone wanting to use their QA and compliance skills and experience to support the growth of a business that is experiencing increasing demand for its high-quality products.
