Timpack Industries Ltd has branches located across the country, and has positioned itself as being an innovative leader in the manufacture of wood packaging products for the dairy, horticulture, fishing and aluminium industries. Reporting to the Chief Executive , this influential role will be responsible for ensuring consistent best practice for quality, continuous improvement and health and safety are in place across the company, and that the business complies with all legislative requirements. There is already a very strong foundation in place, so you will have the opportunity to continue to strengthen this.

You will be expected to work with the Leadership Team and Branch Managers to plan, develop and coordinate the implementation of continuous improvement strategies across the business, including enhancing existing policies and procedures, or developing new fit for purpose ones. In addition, there will be needs analysis, and the alignment and delivery of training to focus on these business needs. It is also important that you undertake planned audits to evaluate business efficiency, and that quality standards are being met.

To be considered for the position, it is important that you have a proven history of having developed, implemented and coordinated continuous improvement, quality and health and safety strategies, policies procedures across a multi-site organisation. You also need to have had experience in undertaking business improvement related needs analysis, and then be able to plan and deliver focused, effective and practical skills and knowledge training. You will need to be an effective communicator, both written and orally, have excellent interpersonal skills, be well organised, have high attention to detail and be self-driven and able to work autonomously. A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable, as is experience working with LEAN manufacturing programmes and practices.

You will be joining an organisation which is a fun place to work, and where there is a strong team focus. There will be some travel required for the role, so the position comes with a motor vehicle.
