This well established and well-known privately-owned multi-site business is seeking an experienced HR Manager to work with the Senior Leadership Team to support the development of the business, which is undergoing significant growth and change.

You will be responsible for leading, planning and implementing future focussed HR strategies and initiatives that will enhance the organisational culture and grow leadership and team capabilities. Ensuring the effective recruitment and management of talent, supporting leaders to optimise team performance and ensuring that important health and safety obligations are met, will also be important areas of strategic and operational focus.

To be considered for this position, you will need to have proven experience as a senior HR leader, able to work confidently across all key HR strategic and operational areas. You will have a strong and practical understanding of ER and employer related health and safety obligations. It is essential that you have demonstrated that you can build strong internal business partnerships with managers and team leaders, and understand the unique balance that is required working in a private business, and understanding owners’ expectations. You must be able to demonstrate being able to work effectively across different geographical locations. It is essential that you have a highly engaging and warm interpersonal style, have excellent problem solving skills and initiative, and have a relevant tertiary qualification.

This is a challenging role with significant opportunities for personal and professional growth, with a business that is one of the largest of its type in New Zealand. You will be based at their Head Office in Hamilton.
